Jacob & Hefner Associates, Inc. (JHA) is a civil engineering, land surveying, and environmental services firm with offices in Illinois and California.  JHA's civil engineering and land surveying divisions were established in 1996 by Jeff Jacob and John Hefner.  JHA expanded to California in 2006 with the opening of JHA Environmental, Inc.  Today our firm provides civil engineering, transportation and municipal engineering, water resources engineering, land surveying, mapping, and environmental remediation implementation, operation, maintenance, monitoring and Phase I and II due diligence services. We work for a wide range of dedicated clients that include real estate developers, architects, facility managers, consultants, aerospace and industrial manufacturers, major airline companies, local municipalities, and state and federal government agencies.  JHA has successfully completed a wide range of engineering and survey projects from simple parking lot expansions to master-planning and designing critical infrastructure for 1,000 acre business parks.  Our environmental projects have ranged from simple Phase 1 environmental assessments of small commercial properties to performing large scale environmental assessment and remediation projects at aerospace facilities, major airports, and major redevelopment projects.  Our focus has been, and will always be, providing exceptional quality, value, and client service.
